Betrayal at House on the Hill
[ You sleep, the ground cold beneath your cheek. The ground is hard as stone, cold marble beneath a fine layer of dust that doesn't come anywhere near acting as a cushion. The dust stirs with your breathing.

COLLAPSED ROOM - UPPER LEVEL.
because after that, the lights in the room flicker on. A dim bulb showing this to be a collapsed room— the center of the room has given way entirely. Only some rickety boards remain, sticking out from the walls and thrust out towards the abyss in a fragile lattice that just might be able to take you to the doors you see on three of the walls, if you're fast or careful about following the walls. ]

[He tests his weight briefly on the boards, and isn't totally convinced, but he has good balance and the fall doesn't seem that bad, so decides to just go for it, heading for the next door along the wall.]
